A plate with the driver's name and flag over the game, like on TV broadcasts. Six designs to choose from. A PRO plan overlay of Raptor Racing Overlay.

It only reads iRacing: it never changes anything on your car.

The Gold edge plate, the default design.

  1. 1The flag: the driver's country in iRacing. It can be hidden.
  2. 2The DRIVER label: it can be hidden too.
  3. 3The name: in capitals, full or shortened.
  4. 4The gold edge: the mark of this design.

The six designs

Pick one in PLATE DESIGN or by right clicking the plate.

The options

Without the flag
Without the flag«Show the flag» off: the plate gets narrower.
Without the label
Without the label«Show the DRIVER label» off.
How the name is written
How the name is writtenFirst and last name, Initial and last name, or First name and last initial. Middle names are never written.

Whose name it is

  • While driving: yours.
  • In a team race: the driver at the wheel. It changes by itself at every driver swap.
  • Watching a race or a replay: the car the camera follows. For that, check «Replays and spectating».

When it shows

  • By default, only while driving on track.
  • In WHERE IT SHOWS you can add the garage and replays.
  • Off track (Ctrl+S or move mode) it shows dashes instead of the name, so you can place it.
  • Also on your phone and in OBS with Streaming.

Controls and settings

  • On the overlay: with «Allow moving the overlay» you drag it. In move mode (Ctrl+M from the menu) you place it together with the others.
  • Right click on the plate: Plate design, Names, Show the DRIVER label, Show the flag, Overlay size (Bigger, Smaller, or 75, 100, 125, 150 and 200%), Also show it in the garage, Also show it in replays and when spectating, Allow moving the overlay, Background opacity (background from 0 to 100% and data from 20 to 100%) and Close the driver name.
  • In the Raptor Racing Overlay menu: PLATE DESIGN, HOW THE NAME IS WRITTEN, Show the DRIVER label, Show the flag, SIZE, BACKGROUND OPACITY (plates and strips), DATA OPACITY (flag, name, number and chips), WHERE IT SHOWS and SEE IT ON YOUR PHONE.

Tips

  1. Put it at the bottom left, where broadcasts put it.
  2. For streaming, TV style says more in less space.
  3. If it covers the track, lower BACKGROUND OPACITY: the name stays the same.
